Top 5 Film & Television Apps on iOS in Greece Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the Film & Television category on the iOS platform in Greece saw a range of performances from the top five apps. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

ANT1 experienced notable fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting with 1.9K downloads at the end of September, there was a significant spike in mid-November reaching around 17.6K downloads, before tapering off to about 709 downloads by the end of December. Despite the download activity, the app did not generate revenue during this period.

Netflix maintained a steady revenue stream throughout the quarter, peaking in early October at approximately $11.4K and ending the year with around $8.1K in weekly revenue. Downloads saw an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, rising from 2.6K in late September to about 5.7K in the final week of December. Active users fluctuated but showed a general increase, starting at 79.1K and reaching 84.6K by the end of the quarter.

Disney+ demonstrated strong revenue performance, with notable peaks such as $43.3K in mid-November and $33.3K in mid-December. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.2K, with a slight increase to 2.6K in the last week of December. Active users showed a steady increase from 24.2K at the end of September to 27.3K by the end of the year.

COSMOTE TV saw a varied download trend. Downloads started at 688 in late September, peaking at 5.4K in mid-December, and then decreasing to 946 by the end of the year. The app did not generate revenue during this period.

ERTFLIX had a relatively stable download count, starting at 1.8K in late September and ending the quarter with 974 downloads in the last week of December. Similar to ANT1 and COSMOTE TV, ERTFLIX did not generate revenue in Q4 2022.
